Jethro Tull

Just saw Tull here in Chico CA. Good show! Killer versions of Nothing is Easy, Fat Man, Locomotive Breath, Oh God. They did an odd variation of Aqualung. Also an interesting version of the Nice arrangement of America. The show was sold out but I was able to get a last minute ticket.

We happened to see them in Israel this past August. It was a really enjoyable show despite the fact that Ian's voice is all but gone. But their energy was amazing, and I really loved their versions of the old songs.

      Right about Ian's voice.
I saw them about six years ago and it was worse than last night. After that show I didn't think I'd bother going to another Tull show, but his voice was better and the show was very good last night. I think the vocal problem is the reason for the different version of Aqualung, he played flute instead of singing most of it.

Oh, and they did a great job on "Living in the Past" too :-)
