I'll have to ask Gary about it next time I see him(no I'm not bragging but yes I am referring to Gary Green....very cool guy). Octopus is probably my favorite by them too although IAGH is the one Gary signed for me(ok that time I'm bragging ;) ).

Wed, January 23, 2008 - 9:12 PMfunny that Gary in particular got mentioned on this thread, because this song really shows off how versatile he is... in this one he has like this smooth jazz thing going on w/ the acoustic guitar, with a laid back almost "island" like feel to it... alternating with these somber English-style chamber string quartet passages... man was this band (wonderfully) weird! (not to say the least of that goose-honking sounding reed organ thing slipping and sliding notes through that oddly timed middle part) -

What a depressing song! No happy ending, no resolution, just the relationship is GONE, is the gist of the song
